Kevin Patton Jr Stats

Kevin Patton Jr. is a Junior at the University of New Mexico, where he plays under Coach Eric Olen. As a promising athletic wing, he is carving out a successful basketball career by showcasing his determination and skills on the court.

Standing at 6’8 and weighing 197 pounds, Kevin is a versatile GUARD known for his strong defense, impressive above-the-rim finishes, and shot-blocking ability. His athletic prowess is evident in his ability to execute a highlight-worthy Kevin Patton dunk.

Previously, Kevin attended the University of Southern California under Coach Eric Musselman. During his time in the BIG Ten conference, he scored a season-high of 14 points against Michigan and appeared in 27 games at USC.

His freshman year was spent with Coach Steve Lavin at the University of San Diego, where he averaged 9.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game. His performance earned him four WCC Freshman of the Week honors, and he was named to the All-WCC Freshman Team.

Kevin graduated from Rancho Christian High School in Temecula, CA, where he was recognized as a THREE-time All-State Player—two times in Arizona and once in California. He also earned the title of two-time Division Player of the Year in both AZ and CA. Additionally, Kevin Jr. was named the Male Student Athlete of the Year for Rancho Christian High School and has accumulated more accolades noted here for his high school achievements.

Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Kevin Jr. is also a Co-Founder of the non-profit organization Intellectual Baller. This initiative aims to support athletes both on the court and in life skills, as well as academics. The anticipated official launch of the Intellectual Baller Academy is set for Summer 2026.
